Krunal Pandya all set to get hitched on 27th December, shares picture on Twitter

Seems like the wedding season isn’t over yet. After former Indian cricketer Zaheer Khan and skipper Virat Kohli, it’s Krunal Pandya who’s all set to tie the knot. The Mumbai Indians all-rounder will get married to his fiancée Pankhuri Sharma on the 27th of December.

Krunal shared a wonderful collage of their pre-wedding photoshoot on Twitter as to break the news on social media. He tweeted, “Can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her! Ecstatic • Blessed • Thankful”

Being the elder amongst the Pandya brothers, Krunal had earlier revealed that he proposed to her for marriage after Mumbai Indians won the IPL this year. The 26-year-old was rewarded the Man of the Match in the final of the tournament. He played a sensational knock of 47 (38) rescuing MI from a spot of bother.

“We will marry in a ceremony attended by family members and close relatives. On the same evening, a reception will be organized. I am very happy that I am marrying a girl who is more like a friend and understands me,” Krunal was quoted as saying by Times of India.

Speaking about the turn of events that led to their meeting, Krunal described what gelled them together as a couple.

“She is a friend of my friend. We met at a common gathering two years ago and developed a liking for each other. We both are of same age and get along a lot. What I like about her is her simplicity and supportive nature,” he added.

However, it’s believed that Miss Pankhuri Sharma isn’t much of a cricket fan. The cricketer stated that while she doesn’t have a keen interest in cricket, she watches him play.

“She understands that cricket is my life and supports me. She doesn’t watch matches much except those that I play in,” he said.
