India cricketer KS Bharat has joined the group of married Indian players after tying the knot with his longtime girlfriend Anjali. He shared the news of his marriage by posting a picture of him with his wife Anjali. The couple was dating each other for the past 10 years. They looked adorable together and the congratulatory messages poured in from the cricketing fraternity soon after he announced the news.

Bharat has been one of the most recognized wicketkeeper-batsman in Indian cricket. He has time and again shown his skills in domestic cricket. He holds the record of scoring the first triple century in Ranji Trophy as a wicketkeeper-batsman.

He took to his official Instagram account to share the news with his friends and fans on social media. He is also excited to start a new journey ahead. “We found love. So much to look forward #myvalentine #precious #decadestrongandcounting,” he captioned his post.

KS Bharat is not part of any IPL team

He, during the auction for IPL 2020, wasn’t picked by any franchise. He didn’t get disappointed and kept working hard for the domestic season. Bharat will surely hope to be a part of the national camp which will be held after IPL for the selection of players for the Australian tour later this year.

The 26-year-old made his first-class debut for Andhra at the age of 19 years against Kerala in 2012. In 74 first-class games, Bharat has scored an impressive 4143 runs at an average of 37.66 with nine centuries to his name.

In the historic day-night Test between India and Bangladesh which was held in Kolkatta, Bharat was drafted into the side as the backup of Wriddhiman Saha. In January 2020, he was added to Indian’s squad for the ODI series against Australia, after Rishabh Pant suffered a concussion.

The Andhra keeper was at the peak of his game in the 2014-15 Ranji season which helped the youngster in getting picked for the IPL 2015 season for Rs. 10 lakhs by Delhi Daredevils. However, he didn’t get an opportunity to play in that season.
