The former Australian cricketer Shane Warne is currently a part of the reality show “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!” The legendary leg spinner is known to be in the news, be it for his antics on the field or off the field. Yet again, the wily dealer found himself amidst the news headlines when he was bitten by a snake after he put his head inside a box full of the reptiles for the reality show.

The video grab of the anaconda biting Warne went viral, the video where the leggie can be seen being nipped on his head by an ammature anaconda. Well there was nothing much to worry as the snake was, of course, non-venomous. While the rest of the world showed concerns for Warne, former Sri Lankan skipper Kumar Sangakkara saw the humorous side of the story.

Sangakkara, who is known to share a great bond on and off the field with fellow players, is a close friend of Warne too. No wonder he took to twitter to mock his friend after the snake-biting incident. Sangakkara, in his tweet, wrote “It was rumoured that @ShaneWarne was bitten by a snake during a dare on the show but don’t worry twitterverse the snake is absolutely fine.”

Interestingly the Lankan legend was more concerned about the snake and gave his fans a bit of a laugh on the occasion. Sangakkara and Warne were recently seen together playing in the All Stars T20 in USA. It is always a pleasing sight to see the yesteryear’s legends take a prick at each other on social media and show such great camaraderie off the field.
