The India-Pakistan contest is always a highly anticipated contest. The atmosphere is electric and pressure is always high on the players to perform. Off the field, excitement is high among both supporters of both the teams. However, India’s star batsman Virat Kohli feels that this game is just like any other match.

Arch-rivals India and Pakistan are ready to face again on 27th February at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in the ongoing Asia Cup T20.

“We treat all teams as same. There is no difference for me while playing against Pakistan. We go to the field to play cricket with bat and ball,” explained Kohli while speaking to Oneindia.com.

“For me, mentally, there is no difference. I always follow that – treat all teams same. Pakistan is a strong team and we want to do well against them. Competition will be good. There is a lot of hype created around the contest but on the field it is normal for us players,” the 27-year-old, who scored a century against Pakistan in World Cup 2015, added.

With no bilateral series between the sides for a long time, fans have to wait for global tournaments to watch India-Pakistan clashes. The last time they met was in World Cup 2015 in Adelaide where India won.

As far as the current form of both the teams is concerned, India has a big advantage and will go in as the favorites to win the game which is just a day away. These two Asian giants will again meet in the ICC World T20 on March 19 at the picturesque Dharamsala stadium.
