Indian skipper Virat Kohli sure knows how to lift the mood of his loved ones and fans. Several times he has gone far to confess his love and admiration to the dear ones. But this time the situation was slightly different as he didn’t need to travel afar but just had to come below the balcony to say hi to his wife Anushka Sharma.

Anushka is currently quarantining at a hotel in UAE. Kohli is also nearby but he is staying in a bio-bubble with his squad members for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2021, which is scheduled to begin on October 17 in Oman and UAE.  Due to strict COVID-19 norms and protocols, Anushka has to complete her isolation period before joining the team bubble.

The popular Bollywood actor can join her better half after only completing the quarantine period.  Kohli, who is also known to be funny and fun-loving off the field, made sure to make his partner’s otherwise boring quarantine a bit interesting by his antics.

The Indian skipper waved at Anushka and was seen lifting her spirits. Kohli’s better half took to the official Instagram account to share pictures of her husband making her quarantine a bit interesting. The Bollywood actor also gave a cheeky caption to the post and said, Couldn’t choose between these two captions – Quarantine makes the heart fonder & Love in the time of bubble life #OhWell, you get the point !”

Team India gearing for the T20 World Cup

Speaking about team India’s preparations for the global event, the team looks in good shape and the majority of players are coming off a good form from the just-completed Indian Premier League (IPL). The BCCI selectors have just tweaked the squad last minute by including Shardul Thakur in the playing XI in place of Axar Patel. The Chetan Sharma-led panel wanted a backup option for all-rounder Hardik Pandya in the team.

Barring that change, the team otherwise looks very strong with a good balance in batting and bowling. India are set to play two warm-up games on 18th and 20th October against England and Australia respectively. The Men in Blue begin their WC campaign by facing Pakistan on Sunday (October 24).
