India’s limited-overs vice-captain Rohit Sharma is celebrating his 34th birthday on April 30, Friday. The opening batsman, fondly called the Hitman, is an absolute fan favorite. Thus, from the start of the day, the Mumbai-born is trending across the social networking sites and the fans have flooded social media with birthday greetings and messages for Rohit.
The cricket fraternity was also not behind in wishing the mainstay of India’s batting line-up on his 34th birthday as many including the likes of Yuzvenndra Chahal, Navdeep Saini, Khaleel Ahmed, Krunal Pandya, and Suresh Raina took to their official Twitter handle to wish the right-hander.
The official Twitter handles of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the International Cricket Council (ICC) also joined in wishing the Hitman as they recalled some of his finish knocks or shots in his cricket career. The latest to join the bandwagon is former Indian cricketer Pragyan Ojha.
Both Pragyan and Rohit share a good camaraderie with each other as they have played a lot of cricket together. The two represented India on the National level for a short period of time and also played for franchises like Deccan Chargers and Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The former cricketer captioned the video as, “Many happy returns of the day brotherman. May you continue to enjoy yourself and have all the happiness! @ImRo45”

At present, Rohit Sharma is plying his trade for the five-time champion Mumbai Indians in the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). While the batsman isn’t at his fluent best, MI has experienced a decent run in the T20 Championship thus far.
In six matches, the defending champions have registered victory in three while they were outplayed by Delhi Capitals, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Punjab Kings. MI is placed at the fourth position in the IPL points table with six points under their belt.
