Match 46 - Chennai vs Hyderabad: CrickingDuels Fantasy Guide

This CrickingDuels Fantasy guide is for the match 46 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season which will be played between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Though this is the clash between the table toppers the Men in Yellow are in a desperate need of a victory. They are not yet certain of a playoff position and need at least one more victory to confirm their qualification. However, the Orange Army is also on a rampage and they would be eyeing to continue their winning streak.

MS Dhoni was livid with his bowlers and the fielders in the game against the Royals. He would want them to repeat the performance against Bangalore a few days ago in order to win the game against the strong outfit of SRH. Kane Williamson, on the other hand, is enjoying his captaincy role and has hit the purple patch with the bat. So far he has scored 6 half-centuries this season and is most likely to continue in the same vein with the way he is batting. Here we bring to you the CrickingDuels Fantasy guide for the game:

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) vs Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH):

Batsmen

It is a tough decision to pick the batsmen in this match. The talent and class galore with the top order of both the teams. I am going only with Ambati Rayudu as far as the CSK top order is concerned. I will be picking Shane Watson later so that is not an issue. But for SRH, only top 3 are in form and there is no doubt that Shikhar Dhawan, Kane Williamson and Alex Hales make it to my team. It was hard to leave Suresh Raina but I was not able to ignore the other batsmen as well.

All-Rounders

Here again, I am going with 3 all-rounders. Shane Watson, as I mentioned earlier, has to be in the line-up. If he gets going, the game could get over very early. Now, Ravindra Jadeja will be included for the first time this IPL in my fantasy team. His exploits on a slow surface are crucial and very few must have forgotten the magical spell which he bowled against RCB last week. The third and final all-rounder for me in the team is Shakib Al Hasan who has been the silent hero for Hyderabad. He has been excellent this year and played a crucial with the bat as well.

Wicketkeeper

It is a very easy decision to pick a wicketkeeper whenever any game involves Hyderabad. MS Dhoni is the wicketkeeper who will easily give a lot of points with the form he is in currently. Shreevats Goswami is unlikely to play a role with the bat with Hyderabad’s top order in such a blazing form. Even if his batting comes, the odds of him scoring a half-century are too less.

Bowlers

Unfortunately, only Harbhajan Singh is my bowler from CSK as he along with Jadeja bowled well in Pune last time around. Rashid Khan and Siddarth Kaul are the bowlers from the visiting side who had a bad game the other day. But both are champion bowlers and wicket-takers which has prompted to go for them. They are absolutely excellent in their own way and there is no doubt in my mind to include them in the line-up.
