If Md. Shami can cheat me then he can cheat the country as well: Hasin Jahan

Hasin Jahan has been all over the news since she emerged with claims that her husband and Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami had multiple extra-marital affairs. After also stating that Shami and her in-laws mentally and physically abused her and threatened her life she has now dropped another huge allegation claiming that the cricketer took money from a Pakistani girl.

Jahan said if Shami could cheat on her he could as well cheat on the country. She named another individual in Mohammed Bhai who is based in England and that he was the one who influenced him to accept money from the Pakistani girl Alisbah and the transaction was carried out in Dubai.

Jahan also met the cops at the Lal Bazar Police Station in Kolkata though didn’t file an official FIR. “If Md. Shami can cheat me then he can cheat the country as well. He accepted money from a Pakistani girl named Alisbah in Dubai. He agreed to accept it after insistence of England-based Mohammed Bhai. I have proof,” she said while speaking to ABP News.

Shami who was until recently playing the Deodhar Trophy has called all this baseless and meaningless since his wife claimed to have witnessed all this for the last five years while their marriage is 4 years old. In his view, it is a conspiracy to hamper his international career.

“All these accusations made against me are baseless. They have no meaning. She said that this has been happening since five years, the fact is that we have been married just for four years,” Shami said as quoted by Indian Express.

“Even after my wife was trolled so much in the past I stood by her. And I would like to stand by her today as well,” he added.

The impact of the allegations was immediately visible as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) while announcing the annual contracts on March 7 decided to keep Shami’s name off the list till the matter was cleared.
