Back on May 15, 2012, former Australian all-round cricketer Michael Clarke entered wedlock with business owner and model Kyly Boldy and five years later on July 8, 2015, the couple became proud parents of their first girl child and reportedly named her Kelsey Lee. However, all’s doesn’t seem to be well between the couple by any stretch of the imagination.
At the Melbourne Cup last week, Australia’s most popular racing event, Kyly attended the event alone and most importantly, she wasn’t wearing her wedding ring. Quite expectantly speculations came to the fore that the two have split. However, their representative later mentioned that they are going pretty strong.
He made a decision back in 2013
Lately, another revelation has come to the fore surrounding their suspected souring relationship. Kyly is upset after seeing Clarke’s pictures with his assistant Sasha Armstrong, who was wearing a bikini, on a luxury yacht in Sydney as per reports in Australian magazine Woman’s Day.
“Of course she’s [Kyly] annoyed by the pictures. Which woman wouldn’t be? They [Clarke and Armstrong] have a very unorthodox relationship for a business situation. When it comes to business, Michael often turns to Sasha before Kyly. He made a decision back in 2013 to self-manage himself, and we all had a chuckle when he hired this gorgeous leggy blonde as a PA,” a source mentioned.
Armstrong started working for Clarke in 2014 as his executive assistant. As per her account on Linkedin, Sasha Armstrong was also appointed as the executive director of Clarke’s cricket academy in 2017.
Clarke made his international debut back in 2003 and turned out to be an indispensable member of the Australian team. The New South Wales-born cricketer went on to play 115 Tests, 245 ODIs and 34 T20Is in which he scored 8643, 7981 and 488 runs respectively. His last appearance for the national team was against England in a Test match at The Oval in August 2015.
