It is a well-renowned fact the Natwest T20 Blast is full of action and thrillers. Be it crowd taking one handed blinders while keeping the glass of beer intact or bowlers getting hit by a tracer bullet on the head on the follow-through, Natwest T20 Blast does not disappoint. This time the incident occurred during the South Group match between Middlesex and Hampshire where Tom Helm seemed oblivious to the fact that he dismissed the batsman after bowling a peach of a slower delivery, which deceived even himself.

After winning the toss, Hampshire opted to bat first and posted a below par score of 136. Kyle Abbott starred for Hampshire as he picked up three vital wickets while Berg and Wood picked up a couple of wickets each. Chasing a target of 137, Vince and Rilee Rossouw went off to a perfect start with 42 on the board by the end of the fourth over.

Helm was handed the ball for the fifth over and he delivered an absolute peach which deceived Vince. The back of the hand slower ball, not only bamboozled the batsman but also the bowler who delivered the ball. The ball managed to kiss the bails connecting the off and middle stump. Tom Helm initially thought that it was nothing but a close shave for Vince. As he was about to walk back to his mark, he realised that the bails were dislodged and the expression on his face was as good as gold.

However, Hampshire chased down the below par total with ease as Rilee Rossouw took his team past the target with his 60 off 42 balls. Hampshire won the match comfortably with 6 wickets and 15 balls to spare. Hampshire now is securely placed at the third place while Middlesex languishes at the second last place at the points table.
