Pakistan opener Mohammad Hafeez is has been a great all-rounder over the years both with the bat and with his off-spin bowling. Pakistan has been going through a boot camp for all their players. The fitness trainer of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Grant Luden has been conducting a high standard test for the Pakistani players and some of the top players in the side failed in the fitness tests. Hafeez is not attending the boot camp as he is undergoing rehabilitation for a knee problem at the national academy in Lahore.
In a recent interview, PCB Chairman Shaharyar Khan pointed that only Misbah-ul-Haq is a proper graduate in the side and the poor education among the players is the key reason for all the problems. “There is no graduate player in the team right now except for Misbah and the absence of educated players in the team is a primary reason for its recent downfall.”
