Veteran Pakistani all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez has promised to be back with a remodeled bowling action soon. The all-rounder faced the heat from the International Cricket Council (ICC) recently. Hafeez was banned from bowling in international cricket due to suspect bowling action. Incidentally, this is not the first time that his bowling action has come under the scanner.

During the recently concluded limited overs series against Sri Lanka, the on-field umpires had brought the action of Mohammad Hafeez to the notice of the match referee. It was after this that the ICC went on to review the action. The result that they came up with was totally heart wrenching for the veteran cricketer. He has been banned from bowling in international cricket now.

This is the second time that he has been banned for suspect bowling action by the ICC. Just about a year ago, he had come back to the field with a remodeled bowling action. Things seemed to have been getting better for him but the same old problem has struck again. However, the recent social media update of the cricketer reveals that he is not going to let this hamper his spirits.

He posted a big update on Twitter wherein he vowed to be back with a remodeled action yet again. He even used the hashtag #no1allrounder, indicating his rankings in the all-rounders’ department in the shortest format of the game. He expressed that he is saddened to know about the ban but it will not pull him down. Hafeez stressed that he will not give up. He had worked hard for his new action and will work harder to remodel it yet again. He aspires to serve his nation more and achieve greater heights.

Here is the tweet:

“Saddened to know the result of my bowling action from ICC , it would never pull me down , wil never give up , worked so hard to remodelled it & wil work again twice harder to get better to serve my beloved country Pakistan & Achieve MORE #NO1allrounder,” tweeted Mohammad Hafeez.
