Owing to the COVID-19 crisis in India, the government has enforced lockdown in several states and cities. Staying in isolation is indeed challenging as it can affect a person physically and mentally. Hence, it’s important for everyone to be engaged in some sort of activities, which can be executed inside the home. Former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif indeed thinks the same way.

On Tuesday, Kaif took to Instagram and shared a video of him playing cricket with his wife, Pooja. The match took place inside the house where you can see Kaif bowling to his wife. While the former cricketer was a part-time off-spinner during his playing days, he was bowling underarm to his better half. Pooja smashed the ball on most occasions while Kaif also received some return catches.

While the video was enough to give ‘couple goals’ to fans, the caption made it even more adorable. “She may need some batting tips from me but she definitely bowls me over,” wrote Kaif while sharing the clip on Instagram. Unsurprisingly, the comment section got flooded in no time with fans lauding the couple.

For the uninitiated, Mohammad Kaif’s wife Pooja is a Noida-based journalist, and the two tied knots in March 2011. The two lovebirds reportedly first met in 2007 and dated for more than a couple of years before taking their relationship to a new level. As of now, they have two kids together – a son named Kabir and a daughter Eva.

During his playing days, Kaif was considered as one of the best fielders in the world as taking unbelievable catches and executing run-outs was part of his daily job. The right-handed batsman eventually announced his retirement from all forms of cricket in 2018 and started his stint in the coaching and commentary section.

Kaif is currently part of the Delhi Capitals set up in the Indian Premier League as the assistant coach. The Capitals have had a good run over the past two seasons.  While they reached the playoffs in 2019, they advanced to the final in the following season. In fact, DC was leading the IPL 2021 points table with six wins in eight games before the season got suspended due to the COVID-19 crisis.
