The cash-rich T20 leagues across the globe have not only helped players earn quite a good fortune but have also enabled them to develop a strong camaraderie with overseas players. The likes of IPL, BBL, CPL, and other leagues see players from different countries and backgrounds sharing the dressing rooms together and develop a strong friendship. And a latest Twitter exchange between Afghanistan star Mohammad Nabi and Nepal spin sensation Sandeep Lamichchane pretty much proves that.

The exchange began when BBL official Twitter handle posted a video clip of Fawad Ahmed’s impressive show for Sydney Thunder against Sydney Sixers on Monday. The leg-spinner took two wickets in his first over, twice rattling Jordan Silk and Daniel Hughes’ stumps off carbon-copy googly deliveries. He went on to take another wicket as Thunder crushed their cross-city rivals by runs.

Impressed with the performance, Nabi soon responded to the video. However, he posted his message in his native language while tagging Ahmed and his compatriot Rashid Khan.

This is when Sandeep entered the conversation. The youngster pointed out that he did not understand Nabi’s tweet before praising the Afghanistan star for his match-winning knock against Adelaide Strikers. Nabi had scored an unbeaten 48 and shared a 94-run stand with Dan Christian to help Melbourne Renegades beat the defending champions by 5 wickets.

“Didn’t understand @MohammadNabi007 🙈 Anyway it was great to watch you hitting out of the park brother. Keep rocking the stadium,” wrote Sandeep.

Nabi was then quick to return the favor, writing, “Thanks sandeep bro”

Asian trio impress in BBL

Meanwhile, Nabi, Sandeep, and Rashid have started the BBL season on a strong note. Both Sandeep and Rashid have picked 5 wickets from the first two games to sit at the second position in the list of highest wicket-takers. On the other hand, Nabi has scored 83 runs and picked up 1 wicket in the first two games.
