Mohammad Nabi picks his favourite cricketer between AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli

Mohammad Nabi will be the proud debutant of Afghanistan Test team when he will don the white jersey at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Thursday. He is the role model for the players in the side and is one of the most experienced cricketers in the squad. A lot will depend on his performance in the historic Test match against India. However, he has picked his favourite cricketer between AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli ahead of the game in Bengaluru.

Kohli and De Villiers are two of the best cricketers of this generation and both play for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) franchise in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The duo light up the Stadium when they bat together and it is a dream for any fan to watch them tear apart the bowling attacks live. There could be no debate about the better batsman between them as both are on top in their own ways.

Whom did Nabi choose?

Mohammad Nabi took up the toughest quiz of ESPN Cricinfo recently in which he answered a few interesting questions. During the quiz, he was asked to pick one player strictly amoung AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli and it took some time for him to think as he finally took the name of the former. He also fondly took the name of Sachin Tendulkar when the all-rounder was asked to choose between the master blaster and the legendary Windies cricketer Brian Lara.

Moreover, Nabi also went in favour of the Indian Premier League (IPL) as the best league compared to the Big Bash League in which he plays for Melbourne Renegades. He also picked Chris Gayle over Virender Sehwag which was again the toughest choice for the 33-year-old. Hilariously, when he asked to choose one between Mohammad Shahzad and Rashid Khan‘s celebrations, he picked both. However, he went with the former for his celebration after insisting to pick only one among them.
