Mohammed Kaif gears up for iB Cricket Super Over League
Kaif joins a host of big names from India and abroad in the iB Cricket SOL.

Several cricketers are expected to take part in the world’s first ever virtual reality cricket league, i.e. iB Cricket Super Over League which is set to be aired from the 15th of March 2019. The league can be followed on Viu as well as on YouTube. It is going to witness 12 exhilarating matches as four teams go head to head in a bid to win the first of its kind coveted trophy.
The likes of Virender Sehwag, Suresh Raina, VVS Laxman and Harbhajan Singh will be leading the respective sides. Many renowned international cricketers such as Brendon McCullum, Andrew Symonds, Chris Lynn, Herschelle Gibbs, Tillakaratne Dilshan and Andre Russell will also be taking part in the contest. A lot of exciting action is expected especially with the big names involved.
Former Indian cricketer Mohammed Kaif is a part as well and the 38-year-old will be joining his former Indian teammate Sehwag and youngster Shubman Gill in the Blue Blasters. Prithvi Shaw will also be featuring in the league. Other teams in the tournament include Orange Chargers, Yellow Strikers and Black Thunders.

Kaif was known to be a terrific fielder during his time. He is also famous for his innings in the Natwest Series final which was followed by some vibrant celebrations in the Indian dressing room. The lad hailing from Uttar Pradesh also led India to a famous U19 World Cup win back in the 2000 edition of the tournament. He announced his retirement from all forms of cricket last year in July. He can often be seen sharing his expertise on various platforms since retirement.
