Mohammed Shami is a bowler who does well across formats, reckons Nehra

“Shami is a bowler who does well across formats, not only white-ball or IPL. He plays some games and sits out in some but never ever looks on the lean patch. He has been doing well in the IPL too especially when there are so many good Indian bowlers to choose from. However, it is even good to see that PBKS are now playing him regularly and he is just exceptional regardless of the situation,” said Nehra while speaking on Cricbuzz.

Ajay Jadeja also opened up on Shami’s bowling and stated that Shami never really looks under stress even being a pacer. He just comes and does his work with utmost ease. He is in wickets amid the UAE leg also and hope so that he will continue to do so.

Talking about Shami in the current match against RCB, he picked three wickets as he turned back Shahbaz Ahmed, Glenn Maxwell, and George Garton. However, he leaked 9.75 runs in his quota of four overs. It remains to be seen if PBKS will be able to win this game and keep their playoffs hopes alive.

From RCB’s end, Maxwell appeared at his best and smashed a classy fifty to stun bowlers.  He played a dashing inning of 57 off 33 balls only to be returned by Shami at the end.
