Team India pacer Mohammed Shami is arguably having the toughest time of his life. His personal life is in total turmoil with his family drifting away with every passing day. His wife imposed severe allegations against him following which the world has turned upside down for the premier Indian pacer. Hasin Jahan, Shami’s wife, charged him of cheating and harassment.

Hasin Jahan has come up with a new evidence against Mohammed Shami as the case has progressed. She has gone on to claim that Shami took money from a Dubai based lady named Alishba as well – which she thinks could relate to match fixing. Hearing the claims, Shami rubbished all the reports. However, the BCCI has been forced to look in to the matter.

Furthermore, Hasin Jahan alleged that Shami tried to kill her and kept threatening her on multiple occasions. Also, she remarked that Shami had extra marital affairs and often had connections with multiple women at the same time. Now, in the entire case, Shami has made a very bold remark. As per the reports in India Today, the pacer has conceded that he has all the proof sufficient enough to prove him innocent.

In addition to this, he has also exclaimed that he will not be reuniting with his wife in any case now. He tried his best to negotiate in this case but the way Hasin Jahan is trying to drag things to the court, Shami is in no mood to settle either.

“All hopes of re-uniting with my wife are over. I made every effort to save the future of my family. But Hasin said she wants to take this to court. I wuold have done anything to save my family,” quoted Mohammed Shami.

Heavy charges imposed against Shami

Shami is charged with section 498A under the Inidan Penal Code (IPC), which amounts to cruelty to a woman by her husband or his relatives. There are other charges that have been imposed on Mohammed Shami as well.

This includes several bailable and non-bailable charges. Some of them are Section 307 – attempt to murder, Section 323 – punishment for voluntarily causing hurt, Section 376 – rape, Section 506 – criminal intimidation, Section 328 and Section 34.
