Mollie King congratulates Stuart Broad on impressive show in Manchester Test, pacer responds
After the third day's play, Broad already has eight wickets and a half-century in the Manchester Test.

Stuart Broad has been in jaw-dropping form in England’s ongoing three-match Test series against the West Indies. He was left out from the eleven for the opening Test at the Rose Bowl in Southampton and the hosts went on to lose the match by four wickets. Subsequently, they conceded a 0-1 lead to their opponents. But after making his return, Broad gave a good account of himself.
In the second Test at the Old Trafford in Manchester, Broad picked up six wickets, three in each innings. On the back of his spells, the Three Lions managed to win by over 100 runs and drew level in the series. In the third and deciding game in Manchester itself, Broad has showed his class and calibre with both bat and ball. In the first innings, he scored 62 runs off 45 balls.

His knock was laced with nine fours and a six. The innings propelled the Brits to a reasonable score of 369. Thereafter with the ball in hand, he returned with figures of six for 31, bundling the Caribbeans out for 197. Then at the fag end of the third day’s play, Broad chipped in with a couple of more wickets. Going into the fourth day, Broad is standing one short of 500 Test wickets.
In the meantime, Mollie King, Broad’s girlfriend, is mightily pleased with the fast bowler. The 33-year-old King uploaded a picture where she can be seen, planting a kiss on Broad’s cheeks. She didn’t forget to congratulate the 34-year-old Englishman on the incredible show.
She captioned the picture and wrote, “So unbelievably proud of you today @stuartbroad8 (even more than usual)! Can’t wait to watch the next few days, so exciting! Come on England,”

In the meantime, Broad also took some time out to reply his loved one. The pacer tried to guess the place where the picture was taken. Broad replied to King and wrote, “Barcelona? Favourite restaurant.” Broad and King have been dating each other since early 2018. Broad is currently England’s second-highest wicket-taker in Test cricket after James Anderson.
