MS Dhoni to endorse pharmacy company Netmeds

MS Dhoni has been the face of several brands, bearing in mind the icon he has been over the course of his illustrious career. The Jharkhand-born cricketer has turned into a colossus figure owing to the plethora of success he has garnered in all formats of the game. He is currently in the twilight of his career and yet his stardust hasn’t diminished by any stretch of the imagination.

Recently, Netmeds, an online pharmacy startup company has anointed Dhoni as their brand ambassador as per reports in The Economic Times. He is expected to feature in marketing campaigns across the country. Dhoni, who is currently playing for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) also hailed the organisation for their noble approach.

“Making important medicine more available and affordable is a great thing for the country, and Netmeds is one the mainstays in the space. They have a long legacy in the pharma business and they are making it easier for people to stay healthy,” Dhoni mentioned in a media statement.

Dhoni has been a recipient of criticism but hasn’t allowed that to unnerve him. Pradeep Dadha, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), hailed the Indian cricketer for the grit and determination he has displayed. The CEO is excited about Dhoni’s inclusion in the team and believes the same to be a massive boost to their campaign.

“He rose from humble beginnings and fought against very tough odds, but through hard work and belief in himself, he rose to a position of prominence and became a name whose aura resonates through every household in India. At Netmeds, we believe we have embarked on just such a journey, and with him on board, we’re even more excited about the road that lies ahead,” he added.
