MS Dhoni gets a hairstyle makeover ahead of T20Is against Australia

Dhoni is making full use of a small break ahead of Australia series.

Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni used to be a style icon in the country until a few years ago. However, in recent times, he largely distanced himself from these unique styles. The 37-year-old has been maintaining a simple hairstyle which is usually short and nicely trimmed, similar to that of an army man.

Except for the odd-IPL season and ad shoots, he dons a pretty normal haircut for a majority of the year. The man who once donned long-hair, then cut it short and tried different styles over the years. Now, after a while, MS Dhoni decided to revamp his hairstyle and tried something new. His best friend, hairstylist Sapna Bhavnani has to be credited for the makeover.

Sapna shared the pictures of the new-look MS Dhoni on her Instagram account. It can be observed that the finisher dyed his hair black and got a sleek and classy look. He maintained a medium length in the middle and got the sides cut short. Moreover, he spiked the hair a wee bit and didn’t experiment much with the beard. He went with a clean shave to complement his new hairstyle and looks very stylish.

Furthermore, she also shared a picture on Twitter which portrayed the wicket-keeper batsman in another angle. “Hi handsome,” the caption of the tweet read. MSD can be seen with a paper in his hand while he was sipping a beverage. The new hairdo could possibly be for a new advertisement that he is shooting during his break period. He will be back in action on 24 February for the T20Is against Australia.
