There was a massive concern about the inclement weather in Manchester before the game between India and Pakistan began. Rains have been severe in the region for about a week now and the fans were anxious if the play would be possible. Before the game began, Harbhajan Singh, in an analysis show, tried to update the audience about the conditions at the venue.

As he shared his thoughts about the two teams and the ground, MS Dhoni passed by. The former Indian skipper seemed to have completed his practice session and was in the mood to have some fun. While Dhoni was possibly walking towards the dressing room, the off-spinner spotted him and instructed the cameraman to zoom at him. Dhoni who leads Harbhajan in the IPL where they play for Chennai Super Kings also decided to engage in a nice little banter.

While Harbhajan referred to him as ‘Kaptano ke kaptaan (Captain of captains)’, Dhoni had a bright wide smile on his face and was waving at the camera. The wicketkeeper also said something which was not caught by the microphone. Bhajji, though, replied saying: “Thank you. You can keep it. I’ve got some stuff for you.”. The duo further exchanged a few words as Dhoni walked off the field and everyone had a nice laugh.

Here is the video of the incident:

MS Dhoni averages over 55 while playing against Pakistan before this game in the World Cup. This year has been great for him the 37-year-old. First, he started off by bagging the ‘Man of the Series’ award in Australia which put all the retirement demands to the bed. Then, he carried on with his rich vein of form and had a great IPL 2019. He was the leading run-scorer of the season for CSK and led them to the final.

In the warm-up fixture against Bangladesh, Dhoni registered a tremendous hundred and announced his intentions pretty clear. In what could be his final World Cup appearance, Mahendra Singh Dhoni will be looking to finish things off on a high and possibly with a trophy. He has been a massive support to the team and has taken up the mentorship role really well.
