Reliance Chairman and MD Mukesh Ambani’s youngest son Anant Ambani has created a lot of buzz everywhere. He lost a whopping 108kg in 18 months without undergoing any surgery, relying on natural methods of losing weight.  Anant celebrated his 21st birthday yesterday in a grand celebration hosted by his family after Mumbai Indians – Rising Pune SuperGiants match at Wankhede. He received great praise from several celebrities and cricketers present at the event. One of the admirers was Indian limited overs skipper MS Dhoni who tweeted about Anant and his determination and discipline behind the major physical transformation.

IPL Chairman Rajeev Shukla also tweeted about him appreciating his will power

Here is how most others on Twitter reacted to his inspirational transformation:

Anant followed a strenuous fitness regime which included a 21km walk, yoga, weight training, functional training and high-intensity cardio exercises. Diet-wise, he followed a zero-sugar, low-carb diet, with adequate fat and protein.

The young Ambani has been known to suffer from chronic asthma, and it was because of the medication that he put on such big amount of weight. But Anant was apparently determined to shed the extra kilos by his 21st birthday which he has successfully done. The uphill task that spanned over 500 days included exercising for four-five hours daily.

Anant has been a subject for several nasty jokes on social media sites due to his weight issues. But, the Junior Ambani has not only given an example of hard work and perseverance but has also shut all the jokesters.
