MS Dhoni has been a legendary cricketer for the Indian cricket after he made his debut at the highest level in 2004 versus Bangladesh. Around three years later, he took the mantle of leadership in the 2007 T20 World Cup and guided the team to glory, defying all the odds. Later that year, he was made the ODI captain in the tri-nation series in Australia that the Men in Blue won.

It was the same year when India crashed out of the World Cup in the West Indies after losses to Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in the first round. A year later, the keeper became the Test skipper as well and ever since, Indian cricket has seen an upsurge. 12 years since his foray into international cricket, the Jharkhand-born is one of the greatest cricketers India have ever produced.

When he came into the scheme of things, India also got an answer to their problem of finding a genuine all-format keeper-batsman. Parking aside his prowess on the field, Dhoni isn’t an active participant on social media platforms, but keeps on chipping in with posts from time to time.

Recently, he posted a video where he went down the memory lane to his school days. In the video, his friend got bowled while trying to play a shot. Then the batsman hilariously claimed that it was a trial ball. Dhoni said that the childhood funda was a common phenomenon.

He captioned the video and wrote, “Wen U know what’s coming and start the camera and u get it in the nxt 1min, sorry for the bad light but it’s the lingo that’s fun trial ball, umpires decision last decision.brings back memory from school days.he wd have never accepted this ever happened if v didn’t have this video.all of us have witnessed this at some point of time in cricket.enjoy.”

Dhoni is going through a rather tough time in his career. He last played the 2019 World Cup in England and Wales. Then he took a break from the sport in order to serve the Indian Army. He missed the series versus the West Indies and South Africa. As per latest reports, he has extended his break until November and will miss the home series against Bangladesh as well.
