Arguably the greatest Indian captain, referred by his adored ones as ‘Captain Cool’ MS Dhoni has made a rare appearance in a video that has flared up online. The World Cup winning captain hasn’t been active lately on social media and this left his fans bummed out. It’s been a long time since fans got a glimpse of their favourite player, with the former captain keeping a lid on his social media appearances.

The 39-year old hasn’t used his Twitter account since February 14. On the same day, he used Instagram once and for all. However, Chennai Super Kings came to the recovery of die-hard Dhoni fans with a short video where Dhoni made a rare appearance. Generally, the video spontaneously went viral. Dhoni looks much younger compared to his past photos that had gone viral on social media recently. He can be seen sporting a new look, which became the talking point.

“The much needed pawsitivity at 7! #Thala @msdhoni #WhistlePodu,” read the caption in the video uploaded by CSK Twitter handle. In the video, Dhoni is seen waving towards someone while looking at the screen, which seems like a video call.

His old look in one of the videos shared by Sakshi, his wife, bewildered the fans as Dhoni looked vague. His latest look will surely fascinate the fans. Recently, the fans got to see another look of Dhoni when he was seen driving a bike at his residence. On the same day, another photo of Dhoni celebrating his birthday caught fans’ attention.

MS Dhoni has been away since India’s semi-final exit in World Cup 2019

Dhoni turned 39 earlier this month on July 7. He has been away from competitive cricket for over a year now since the World Cup last year, where India exited in the semifinal. He was unavailable for selection to the Indian team for the T20I series against South Africa and Bangladesh as he took a break to serve the Indian Army in Kashmir.

He joined the CSK’s practice camp a month prior to the start of the league and was all set to make his comeback in the Indian Premier League, but unfortunately, the cash-rich league has been postponed indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic.
