MS Dhoni sports Shimla's traditional cap, new look goes viral

Be it giving witty answers or playing with his pet animals, MS Dhoni is always the one who keeps the fans entertained by posting interesting videos. If not captaining Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), Dhoni is pretty much away from cricket after announcing his retirement in shorter formats in 2020.

Recently, he shared a video of him playing with a horse in his farmhouse in Ranchi. Before that, he had also shared an adorable video of him playing with a dog. Now, Dhoni is at it again and this time, he spending some quality time with his family in Shimla. The CSK skipper visited Himachal Pradesh after the state government eased the COVID-19 norms.

Dhoni likes travelling and exploring places across India and he took on the opportunity to explore Shimla. The images of him holidaying in Himachal Pradesh went viral and fans loved the 39-year-old wearing Shimla’s traditional topi (cap). This traditional yet stylish headgear is found in this part of the world and is called as ‘Kullu top’. This cap is almost worn by every man in Shimla.

Apart from wearing the adorable headgear, Dhoni was also seen sporting a new look, this time keeping a moustache and sleek beard. Apart from being crazy about sports bikes, the 39-year-old also keeps experimenting with his looks.

MS Dhoni a vital cog in Chennai Super Kings

Dhoni still is the leader for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and makes all the important decisions regarding players. Before the COVID-19 halted the CSK juggernaut, the team was right at the top of the points table. It was Dhoni who was clever and smart with his leadership skills once again. He promoted Moeen Ali at number three and it paid rich dividends. He also used Ravindra Jadeja well and helped get the best out of him. Apart from that, he backed Ruturaj Gaikwad to come good, even though he had struggled in few games with the bat in hand.

Although Dhoni’s batting prowess has waned in the past few years, he is still the best in business when it comes to leadership skills.
