MS Dhoni started off his 'Seven' venture in hometown Ranchi

One of the greatest captains of Indian Cricket, MS Dhoni has recently embarked upon his apparel trade as he launched the first store of his sports brand titled ‘Seven’ in his hometown, Ranchi. Dhoni, who only represents India in limited-over formats, after giving up on Test Cricket, enjoys a well-earned break with the Indian team currently in Colombo for the upcoming Test series. MSD, instead, utilised the time to expand his business with his new venture.

Mahi’s affinity towards the number seven is a well-renowned phenomenon by now. Dhoni sports the number 7 jersey in the Indian blues. His birthday also falls on the 7th of July and therefore it is a no brainer to guess the name of his brand. Apart for ‘Seven’, the Indian veteran is also a brand ambassador of the Rhiti’s Sports, which is owned by Dhoni himself. The inauguration of the store was held at a mall in Ranchi.

Dhoni holds a God-like status when it comes to his home town in Ranchi. As a result, it is no surprise about the capacity of the crowd present to witness the event. Dhoni took no time to post the image on Instagram with the caption,”1st store of SEVEN opens at my hometown RANCHI. So much love and affection from the people had to spend some time in the storeroom.”

Also, Dhoni even interacted with some of the fans present for the event and appreciated their love and support. Dhoni is coming off a long season, even after not featuring in the Test matches. He was part of the Rising Pune Supergiant squad in the tenth edition of IPL. Shortly after his side lost in the finals of the tournament, Dhoni, along with the Indian team, boarded the flight to London for the recently concluded Champions Trophy. MS Dhoni came back to Ranchi after a successful West Indies tour. His next assignment is against the Sri Lankans in the limited over-leg of the tour.
