It may be close to six months now since former Indian captain MS Dhoni turned up on a cricket field, but that does not keep him away from being in the news. From joining the army camp to attending public functions to his now-famous January tak mat poocho reply, Dhoni is everywhere, yet he is nowhere.

Dhoni, who happens to be the only captain to win each of the three ICC trophies- T20 World Cup 2007, 2011 50-over World Cup & 2013 Champions Trophy- is currently on a sabbatical, and no one except him has any idea about his cricketing future. Just like his appearances on the cricketing field, these days, MS Dhoni’s presence on his social media accounts is sporadic.

But, to the surprise of his fans, ‘Thala’ Dhoni took to his social media accounts where he posted a throwback video with the caption, “Blast from the past. when u turn the table and ask the director to deliver the dialogue especially when she keeps saying such an easy dialogue u shd do it in one take. time flies this was more than a year back.”

Dhoni recently recounted his memorable career moments

MS Dhoni was recently in the news when he attended an event hosted by a watch company, where he revealed two of the memorable moments of his entire cricketing career. According to him, two of his favourite moments of his glorious career includes the scenes at the Mumbai airport and all across the city after the 2007 T20 World Cup-winning heist.

The second moment that Dhoni alluded to was the closing stages of the 2011 World Cup final when the entire stadium was singing Vande Matram. “So after the 2007 (T20) World Cup, we came back to India and had an open bus ride and we were standing at the Marine Drive (in Mumbai). It was jam-packed all around and people had come out of their cars. So, I felt good after seeing the smile on everyone’s face.

“Because, there could have been so many people in the crowd, who might have missed their flights, perhaps they were going for important work. The kind of reception, we got, the entire Marine Drive was full from one end to other,” Dhoni was quoted as saying by News18.

Meanwhile, debates around galore around MS Dhoni’s future but the answers, as the former captain has himself asserted aren’t coming until the end of January 2020 (at least).
