In their opening fixture at the home venue, Paarl Rocks lost only by one run chasing a target of 204 runs against Tshwane Spartans. They will be hoping to open their account in their second straight home match. Paarl will be up against Jozi Stars who also lost their first game at home against Nelson Mandela Bay Giants. The real test for the Mzansi Super League begins from this game as some star overseas players will be leaving for the T10 league which stars from November 21st.

The MSL will be without the likes of T20 superstars in form of Chris Gayle and Dwayne Bravo for the next ten days who are a part of Jozi and Paarl sides respectively. However, at the same time, the South African Internationals will be joining their respective teams after completion of a victorious Australian tour. Faf du Plessis and Kagiso Rabada are among the star attractions to keep an eye on in this game.
