The ongoing Test series between India and South Africa have turned out to be a lopsided contest thus far in the favour of the hosts. There were high expectations from the Proteas but they have failed miserably. In fact, South Africa have proved no match for Virat Kohli and his men. India have nearly toyed with the visitors in the ongoing series.

The series started with India thrashing the tourists by 203 runs. South Africa, however, had shown promise by scoring 431 in the first innings of the game. However, their performance only deteriorated after the series-opener. India thrashed them by an innings and 137 runs in the second game to register their biggest win over the African country in Tests.

South Africa’s fortunes have not changed much in the ongoing third Test either. India started poorly with the bat and were reeling at 39 for 3. But from thereon, everything has gone their way. Riding on Rohit Sharma’s double century, Ajinkya Rahane’s century and Ravindra Jadeja’s fifty, India posted 497 for 9 (declared). In reply, South Africa were 9 for 2 before bad light brought a premature end to the game.

Michael Vaughan trolled

While India have been at their dominating best in the series, former England skipper Michael Vaughan feels the games have been boring. Soon after Ravindra Jadeja completed his fifty, Vaughan took to Twitter to praise him but once again criticised the level of competition in the series. Calling the proceedings Boring, Vaughan tweeted, “Once again @imjadeja delivers !!! Btw it will be the same game as last week & the week before …. #Boring #INDvsSA”

Unsurprisingly, he faced the heat from the Indian fans. The fans were not at all impressed with Vaughan’s tweet in which he did not acknowledge India’s dominating performance and it did not take long time for Indians to troll him.

Here are some of the reactions from the fans to Michael Vaughan’s tweet:
