The coronavirus outbreak has created a situation of crisis across the globe and most of the countries are going through lockdowns. There is absolutely no certainty when the situation will get better. With that, all sorts of sporting events have been cancelled throughout the world. With no sporting action in the picture, many cricketers are resorting to Twitter and Instagram to provide their fans with some entertainment.

With the indefinite postponement of IPL 2020, many franchises are interviewing their stars on Twitter and Instagram so that they can entertain their fans. Recently, Chennai Super Kings were also involved in a live Instagram session with Ambati Rayudu where the right-handed batsman flaunted his lighter side. He answered a varied range of questions during his live session with the franchise.

Ambati Rayudu heaps praise on CSK’s fan base

Rayudu also picked his favourite time in the IPL. Having played for two franchises, Rayudu chose the name of his current side– Chennai Super Kings — as his favourite team in the league. He also heaped praise on CSK’s immensely emotional and loyal fan base and said that their fan base is second to none in the country.

He also explained the difference between his former IPL team, Mumbai Indians and his current side Chennai Super Kings. Rayudu said that he has been impressed by the faith which CSK show in their players.

“At CSK it’s pretty calm, they have a lot more faith in players ability, while MI is more ‘play-your-role’ kind of a setup,” revealed the right-hander.

Rayudu has plied his trade for Mumbai Indians as well as Chennai Super Kings in his IPL journey. He has enjoyed a terrific run in the tournament as he was part of three title-winning campaigns of Mumbai Indians. Rayudu was associated with the Mumbai franchise for eight long years before shifting his base to Chennai Super Kings in 2018.

He made an immediate impact after moving to CSK as he mustered 602 runs that season and played a vital role in the side’s title-winning campaign. Talking about his IPL record, Rayudu has scored 3300 runs in 147 IPL matches including a solitary hundred against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
