As the new season of the Indian Premier League is just a few days away all the teams are unveiling their new kits to build the mood for an exciting season. Mumbai Indians, the franchise owned by the reliance industries also unveiled their 2017 jersey sharing a video on their official twitter handle.

The video asked the fans to choose the best of the lot and also had a link from where the fans could grab the new 2017 kit.

The video took the fans down the memory lane as it showed the revolution of the jersey of the franchise since the inception of the Indian Premier League in 2008. The fans could get a glimpse of all the Mumbai Indians jerseys the players have donned over the years and comments flowed in on which one was the best of the lot.

Mumbai Indians have been one of the most successful franchises over the years as they have won the prestigious league two times in 2013 and 2015. If the side goes on to win the trophy this time around they would create history by becoming the first side to win the Indian Premier League thrice.

The team has a formidable squad with an exceptional bowling line up as far as the shorter version of the game is concerned. They brought back Australian pacer Mitchell Johnson this year which adds more strength to their bowling. With the likes of West Indian duo Keiron Pollard and Lendl Simmons in the side, the batting department also looks sorted for the two-time winners.

To maintain the balance of the side the franchise has also brought in a good pack of all-rounders this time. With such a line up the Mumbai fans can surely expect their team to challenge for the title right away.
