Mustafizur Rahman is eagerly waiting for David Warner’s arrival in Bangladesh

Earlier Warner had stated that he is also trying to learn Bengali to interact with Mustafizur.

Australians and Bangladeshis don’t usually share a great camaraderie but that’s not the case when it comes to David Warner and Mustafizur Rahman. The Indian Premier League (IPL) is to thank for bring together two players from completely different back grounds. Warner led the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the last couple of seasons and Rahman was a key bowler in his team.

In the last part of this month, the Australian team will travel to Bangladesh for two Tests, for the first time since 2006 after the pay dispute between Cricket Australia (CA) and Australian Cricketers’ Association (ACA) was resolved. It is going to be quite a challenge for the hosts who have grown the image of challenging even the bigger names while playing at home.

To prepare for the series, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has set up a week long training camp at Chittagong. Mustafizur who will have a lot of responsibility on his shoulders in the home series joined the other players summoned for the camp and updated his fans about the same on Twitter.

The Fiz wrote- “Heading to Chittagong for next seven days training session prior to the Australia series. #Chittagong #PortCity”

Warner might be his competitor in the upcoming series but that doesn’t stop him from wishing the youngster best. “Good luck champion see you soon,” the Australian opener wrote in his reply.

Mustafizur was glad to receive Warner’s reply and wished him a safe journey and said that they are eagerly waiting for their arrival. “Eagerly waiting for your arrival in our lovely Bangladesh. Be safe and come here soon,” he wrote.

Earlier Warner had stated that he is also trying to learn Bengali to interact with Mustafizur “translation on google for fizz (Rahman’s nickname). Working out how to speak Bangla hehe. Tora tora,” he had tweeted.
