Usman Shinwari, the left-arm young pacer of Pakistan has donned the green jersey in as many as 17 ODIs and 16 T20Is. He was recently dropped from the national squad for the Australia tour but he looks optimistic about his return. However, he recently revealed the dream wickets that he wants to take in his time in international cricket.

There are quite a few batsmen across the globe like Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers that bowlers dream to dismiss once in their career. And, every bowling spearhead has to come up with some of the finest bowling against them in order to grab their precious wickets.

Usman Shinwari talks about his dream as a bowler

While speaking to the media, the young pacer Usman Shinwari said that he wants to take the wickets of Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers and the duo will be his dream wickets. “These two are legendary figures in cricket and known for their skills with the bat. My dream is to bowl against them and dismiss them,” the young pacer said as quoted by Geo News.

He also thinks that he was not dropped from the squad for Australia tour, but it was a different combination that the team management has opted on the away tour. He also felt that the decision taken was in the better interest of Pakistan cricket team. Shinwari added that he always tries to take 5-fers in the first-class cricket and give his best for his team.

“It must be in the better interest of the Pakistan team, the management tried a different combination. I don’t think that I was dropped, it was just a different combination. I am always hungry for 5-fers in first-class cricket and that’s my target every-time I play the longer format. I always try to give my best and achieve the maximum for my team,” he added.

On the other hand after a horrific T20I series against Australia, now Pakistan is gearing up for the 1st Test match that will begin on 21st of November. Also, they will start their ICC Test Championship campaign at The Gabba in Brisbane.
