Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have been horrendous in the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Having lost their first three games, the Orange Army are languishing at the bottom of the points table. On Saturday, April 17, SRH lost to Rohit Sharma’s Mumbai Indians (MI) by 13 runs at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, also known as the Chepauk, in Chennai.
During this while, Kaviya Maran, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the SRH franchise, has been all over the social media platforms. At the times when the Sunrisers capsized alarmingly on the field of play, the cameras focussed on her. And on instances, she was seen almost in tears. She was high on emotions from patting her forehead to biting her nails.
In the meantime, the fans aren’t happy seeing her getting disappointed. The netizens on social media dropped in tweets and consoled her.
Here’s how Twitterati reacted:
Warner should open with Bairstow & also have to bring back Kane Williamson.
Manish Pandey & Vijay Shankar are very disappointing, instead chances should be given to youngsters like Garg & Abhishek.

Another match, another disappointing performance!! Only Warner & Bairstow can't win matches. Others need to step up.

David Warner not happy with SRH batters
After the Sunrisers’ defeat to MI, David Warner wasn’t a happy man by any means. He lashed out at the batters and urged them to learn from their mistakes. The left-handed batter, who got out after a direct hit from Hardik Pandya, lauded the bowlers for bowling accurately.
“I don’t know how to take that. Obviously disappointing. Two of us were set but it proves that if you don’t bat deep, you can’t win. That was my game-plan, a great piece of fielding from Hardik though. But that’s the game of cricket,” Warner said after the match.
“These are very much chaseable targets, if you get a partnership and if there is one person at the end, you can chase it down. The guys need to play smart cricket in the middle, the bowlers have been fantastic and this wicket was slower than the previous wickets that we have played,” he stated.
Warner also shared an update on Kane Williamson, who is said to be recovering from an injury that he suffered before New Zealand’s home series against Bangladesh. “We have to speak to the physios, he’s (Williamson) coming along nicely and plays a big role in our squad,” Warner added.
