Prime Minister Narendra Modi continues to show his support towards the Indian Women’s cricket team after their incredible journey in the recently concluded Women’s World Cup 2017. The team reached the finals of the World Cup but unfortunately could not cross the final hurdle against England. Despite the fact, their performance throughout the tournament was hugely applauded by celebrities all across the nations and they also seemed to have the support of the fans.

He pointed out that this is the first time that the country has applauded and celebrated a loss in the finals so sportingly. Modi urged the girls to forget that they failed to win the final because they have already won the hearts of 125 crore Indians.
