Narendra Modi leaves MS Dhoni behind in the list of most admired men in India
Virat Kohli the third most admired sportsperson in India after MS Dhoni and Sachin Tendulkar.

MS Dhoni and Narendra Modi are the majorly known personalities in India from their respective fields. Narendra Modi is currently India’s prime minister whereas MS Dhoni is one of the most successful captains in India’s cricket history. Fan following of both individuals is not hidden from anyone. They are known in their traits globally, but recently in a survey, Modi has left MS Dhoni behind.
In a survey which included 42,000 people around the globe as the list of most admired men and women were compiled from people across the world. According to YouGov’s annual survey, Bill Gates and Michelle Obama topped the charts respectively. When it comes to India, Narendra Modi and Mary Kom lead their way to the top.

In the category of sportsmen, MS Dhoni is leading the table with an admiration score of 8.58% and in overall he is just behind the Indian Prime Minister. When we come across an overall list, it is only Modi who is ahead of MS Dhoni in the category of the male being the most admired person amongst Indians.
The current Indian skipper Virat Kohli still finds himself below the legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar as per the survey. Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, and Salman Khan also featured in the top 20 most admired men in the world. Virat Kohli has found the admiration score of 4.46% whereas Sachin Tendulkar got the score of 5.81%
In the overall list, the star Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has left his biggest rival Lionel Messi behind in this list. Ronaldo is listed on 7th whereas Messi can be seen on 9th position. A long debate over who is better amongst Messi and Ronaldo but according to the public opinions in this survey, the Portuguese star has been labeled as a clear winner.
Microsoft founder Bill Gates has remained the world’s most admired man, having topped the list every time YouGov has conducted the survey. The survey shows “percentage share of admiration for people” in 41 counties across the globe along with a country-wise breakdown.
