Match Details:

The 13th match of the National T20 Cup 2019 will be played between Sindh and Southern Punjab at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad.

The match starts at 5:30 PM local time (6:00 PM IST) (12:30 PM GMT)

Sindh and Southern Punjab teams will face off in the lone National Cup game to be played on Monday. The match is a do-or-die scenario for the two teams to have a chance of making it to the semi-finals. Southern Punjab won only one game of their first three matches. Their 4th game to be played against Central Punjab was abandoned without a toss.

On the other hand, Sindh team won two of their first three matches. But a 66-run defeat against Northern Areas put them into trouble in the points table. Their NRR after this defeat is by far the worst among all teams. This makes their fixture against Southern Punjab a must-win game. The same is the case with Southern Punjab who also needs a win for qualifying to the knockouts.

Weather Condition/Report:

The weather forecast for the Faisalabad’s Iqbal Stadium is bright and sunny throughout Monday. No rain is expected like on the previous matchday in the tournament.

Pitch Condition/Report:

The night matches usually produce big totals at the Iqbal Stadium but chasing the same isn’t that easy. The recent most game was played on Friday which was affected by rain. The runs came at nearly 8.5 runs an over and the chasing team ended up on the winning side.

Average first innings score: 175 (Last 9 night T20 games – unaffected)

Record of chasing teams: Won – 4, Lost – 5
