Nepal will host a tri-nation T20I series featuring Papua New Guinea (PNG) and Malaysia at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. The tournament will start on the 28th of March and will go on for a week time until the final on April 4. The tournament will be played in the round-robin format with each of the three teams playing each other twice and the top two teams progressing to the final.

Upcoming T20 sensation Sandeep Lamichanne is all set to lead Nepal in the tournament while Ahmad Faiz Bin Mohammad Nor will lead Malaysia and Assad Vala will be leading the Papua New Guinea side. This will give the three associate sides great exposure and allow them to improve a lot more. Papua New Guinea are deemed as the favourites to win the tournament after their recent 2-0 ODI series win against Nepal last week.
