Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma is not new to the game of cricket and the cricket fans in India. Her love affair with the sport is a very well known one. She is often seen supporting Team India from the stands. On most occasions, she is seen or tagged as team India Test skipper Virat Kohli’s girlfriend. Wherever she is spotted with the Indian batting star, the paparazzi follows her.

In a most recent conversation, Anushka Sharma spoke about one of the legends of the game. Well, it was not about Virat. She spoke about her first interaction with former Indian cricketing legend Rahul Dravid. As per the quotes in CircleofCricket, the actress recalled the time when she had the opportunity to meet Dravid for the first time. She reflected back in time and said that she was with her brother at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Dravid was present at the venue and was there for some shoot. Anushka’s brother was too shy to take the autograph of the legend. Hence, it was Anushka, who went to Dravid and asked for the autograph as she gave him a pen and notebook. Surprisingly, she mentions that Dravid was so humble was Dravid that she never felt star struck at the meeting.

“When Rahul Dravid came for a shoot at Chinnaswamy Stadium, we went to see him. I took my brother’s book and pen and went up to Dravid for his autograph, since he was feeling shy. I was never star struck,” she quoted.

She further added that Dravid forgot to return the pen and she had to ask for it. There was no hiccup in the entire conversation and it went very smooth. “Dravid took my pen and started signing other autographs too. After waiting for him to return my pen, I walked up to him and asked for it back,” Anushka Sharma added as she burst into laughter.
