Over the years, there have been a lot of controversies surrounding the former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi. Not only did he mesmerize his fans with his powerful hitting, he accumulated much female attraction off the field. But the most shocking off the field incident involving the 37-year-old was the one which involved Arshi Khan, the lady who claimed she had “sex with Afridi”.
Born in Bhopal, Arshi is an actress who initially began with modelling. Her relation with the ‘Boom Boom’ was discussed widely and many people kept track on their relationship. That old flame of controversy is expected to rekindle again, as the actress is now featuring in Bigg Boss 11, a very popular reality show aired on Colors and hosted by one of the most popular actors of India, Salman Khan.
Arshi’s relationship with Shahid was an ‘on and off’, as one time she denied dating the all-rounder while later claiming that she had a physical relationship with him. When it was reported that she was spending time with Shahid in Dubai, the actress said, “I have lots of friends and relatives in Dubai and travel to Dubai very often. A lot of Pakistani cricketers are seen visiting, shopping and partying in Dubai and regular visitors to Dubai meet them often. This does not mean I am dating Afridi.”
But later, she made a very shocking claim, when she tweeted: “Yes, I had sex with Afridi! Do I need the Indian media’s permission to sleep with someone? It’s my personal life. For me it was love.” This tweet went viral like anything and the owner of 11 international hundreds had to face the heat of the media as well.
