Prolific Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is among the most well-known players in the game today, and this fame is a result of not only his cricketing prowess but also his social media presence and sense of humour. Apart from picking wickets for India, Chahal has also frequently made fans laugh with amusing videos on social media.

He grabbed eyeballs when he took over Rajasthan Royals’ social media for a few hours and shared some hilarious posts. His banter with Jos Buttler, his fellow RR teammate had kept everyone wanting for more funny content. His social media tactics are loved and enjoyed by many, but one of his moves got everyone talking about his life.

On Wednesday (August 17), Chahal shared a creative picture on his Instagram story that had the text saying “New Life Loading….” He had not given the picture any caption, and fans assumed that he and his wife Dhanashree, a professional dancer and a social media icon, were expecting their first child. While there has not been any confirmation upon it from either the cricketer or his better half, fans believe that the couple is soon to begin the new phase of their lives.

Chahal gearing up for Asia Cup

Chahal has doing playing fairly well in the game in recent times, and Indian cricket fans are expecting big things from him at the upcoming Asia Cup 2022. Although Sri Lanka is the event’s host, it will be held in the United Arab Emirates, and it will begin on August 27 with Sri Lanka and Afghanistan squaring off in the campaign opener.

India’s campaign at the Asia Cup will begin on August 28, Sunday, when the Men in Blue go up against arch-rivals Pakistan. Before the Asia Cup, the Indian contingent will play Zimbabwe in a three-match ODI series starting August 18, in Harare. The team, coached by VVS Laxman, will be led by KL Rahul, and consists of the young and budding cricketers as the senior pros have been rested for the mega event.
