Windies failed to win even one game of their tour of New Zealand in fact never came close to getting better of the home team. After winning the Test series 2-0 and ODI series 3-0, Kiwis defeated the Windies in the 3-match T20I series by a 2-0 margin to regain their No.1 ranking in the ICC T20I team rankings. New Zealand might have completed a whitewash across all the three formats if not for a rain-affected 2nd T20I.
All the cricket stats and numbers that were created during New Zealand’s dominant home series win:
1 – Colin Munro became the first player to score three T20I hundreds and also the first to score multiple T20I hundreds at the same venue (Mount Maunganui).
