Niddhi Agerwal names her favourite cricketers

She was in the news last year after being spotted leaving a Mumbai eatery with KL Rahul.

Bollywood actress Nidhhi Agerwal is no stranger to the cricket fans in India. While the young actress is very much new on the scene, she was all over the news after last year’s IPL which made her pretty much famous among the cricket fans. It all started when KL Rahul was spotted leaving a Mumbai eatery with Niddhi. The rumours then spread like wild fire as fans started speculating that another Cricket-Bollywood couple has started developing.

However, it all turned to be mere fake rumours as both Rahul and Niddhi dismissed the speculations, saying that they are just friends. In fact, both the celebrities later revealed that they had known each other right from their teenage days even before making it big in their respective fields.

“Can’t a guy and girl be friends, is it so hard? I have known her for a long time, we both come from the same city. It’s great to see the progress she is making in her field. We have known each other even when I was a cricketer and she was a Bollywood actress. It was not just me and her hanging out, there were three or four more people from Bangalore.

It’s good to catch up with friends and I assure you there is nothing happening. If I am seeing somebody, I’ll make sure everybody knows. I will treat my woman like a princess and not do any hiding”, Rahul had said in an interview while clearing the air on the rumours.

Niddhi and cricket:

Despite KL Rahul clearly ruling out the possibility of any relation with Niddhi, the actress is very much popular among the cricket fans. Perhaps this is the reason why she was asked about her favourite cricketer when she held a Question-Answer session on Twitter. And Niddhi duly obliged by revealing her favourite cricketers as she named Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni and obviously Rahul. “Virat Kohli, Dhoni and Rahul,” wrote Niddhi.
