The two brothers Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan are quite active on social networking sites and often keep their fans and followers entertained by posting about their daily life activities. The two are also known for their hilarious banter on social media sites, displaying their perfect bond.

On November 22, Sunday, the former Indian all-rounder Yusuf took to his official Twitter handle to share a picture of himself after completing his gym session for the day. Sharing the picture, Yusuf urged the people to live a healthy and happy life. The 38-year-old wrote, “Love yourself to live a healthy life. #gym #training”

To this, Irfan, who is known for his wit and humour, took a jibe at his elder brother. The former seamer hilariously asked his brother if he had soaked his shirt in water to flaunt his rigorous work out routine that made him sweat profusely.  “Paani daala na??” the 36-year-old questioned.

Irfan Pathan to take part in LPL 2020

Irfan Pathan is all set to make a comeback in competitive cricket with the inaugural edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL 2020), starting from November 26 with Colombo Kings up against Kandy Tuskers at the Mahindra Rajapaksa International Stadium in Hambantota. The former Indian pacer has signed the deal with the franchise Kandy Tuskers and will be joining the likes of Kusal Perera, Wahab Riaz, Munaf Patel and Kusal Mendis.

Irfan was recently a part of the commentary panel of the just-concluded 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), where the Mumbai Indians outshined the Delhi Capitals in the final on November 10 to lift the IPL trophy for record fifth time.

He last featured in a cricket match in March earlier this year. He represented Indian legends in a charity tournament in Mumbai but it was halted mid-way due to the outbreak of novel coronavirus in the country. Speaking about his participation in the Lankan league, the 36-year-old reckoned that he is looking forward to having fun in the league. He is also confident of playing some good T20 cricket and contributing towards his team’s victory.

“I am definitely looking forward to this. Yes, I had retired from T20 cricket, but I can play around the world and hopefully, I will be able to have fun with my game as well, which I didn’t have for the last two years. I think I can still play some, but I will start slowly and see how this goes, and then I will take it forward,” Irfan said as quoted by ESPNcricinfo.
