Australian skipper Pat Cummins recently posted a video on Instagram of his teammate Alex Carey getting pushed into the swimming pool on a funny note. Wicketkeeper-batter Carey was seen walking around the swimming pool with his shoulder bag in the video as Cummins was the one recording the video. Carey did not notice that he was about to be pushed and ended up getting wet.

On getting drowned, Carey threw his mobile phone to the players in the Australian dugout as everyone around enjoyed the moment and could not stop laughing. The video went viral while former speedster Brett Lee replied stating “his phone will be ringing wet 😂”.

Meanwhile, the historic series between Pakistan and Australia got underway recently as the first Test ended in a draw on account of a flat wicket at the Rawalpindi stadium. Australia will now head into Karachi for the second Test and will expect a much better pitch for the bowlers to have some help.

Cummins recently revealed his disappointment over the wickets in Rawalpindi while the experts around the world wanted a better sporting pitch as well. As many as four centuries came from the Pakistan side while batting and two of those remained unbeaten in the second innings as well. Also, Cummins has also hinted at playing two spinners in the next game as the fast bowlers remained relatively ineffective in comparison to the spinners.

Meanwhile, Carey was dismissed for just 19 in the first innings at Rawalpindi by a peach of a delivery from Naseem Shah and a lot more will be expected from his bat. The left-hander has scored 202 runs in six Tests at an average of 20.2 with the sole half-century and will be eyeing for a big knock in the second Test in Karachi, which starts from the 12th of March.
