Sarfaraz Ahmed was body shamed by one of the Pakistan fans on Friday in a mall when he was roaming in a mall with his son. The outrage has been severe post the Men in Green’s loss against India on June 16 in Manchester. India once again put up a thoroughly professional display to outplay their arch-rivals in all the departments following which the Pakistan skipper came under the scanner.

The team’s decision to bowl first after winning the toss was criticised a lot as well. However, Sarfaraz yawning on the field didn’t go down well with the many and also questioned his fitness as well. Rather many of the fans called him fat soon after the match as well when the 32-year-old was waiting for the presentation ceremony.

But what happened on Friday was the worst incident among all. The fan asked Sarfaraz Ahmed for a selfie in the mall to which the latter obliged. But suddenly he started the video and said, “S**ar ki tarah mote ho gaye ho aap (You have become fat like a pig).” Sarfaraz walked away from there soon and the video went viral in no time.

I had deleted the video, says the fan

There was a severe backlash for the Pakistani fan after the video went viral with even the celebrities including the cricketers calling it a cheap act. Meanwhile, the fan has also realised his mistake and has apologised for what he did to the Pakistan captain. He also cleared that he apologised to Sarfaraz Ahmed there itself soon after the incident as the cricketer got angry and hurt.

Moreover, the fan claims that he had deleted the video and is unaware of how it went viral. He also went on to apologise to everyone who got offended with his actions and stated that he himself is a Pakistani.
