Pakistan team manager slaps a fine on Shehzad and bars team from smoking: Pakistan team manager Intikhab Alam has barred all the members of the Pakistan team and management from smoking during the ongoing series against England in the United Arab Emirates. The decision came after opener Ahmed Shehzad was fined $500 US for smoking a cigarette in the toilet of the dressing room.

“Team manager Alam fined Shehzad $500 US after he found the opener smoke a cigarette in the toilet of the dressing room but on the insistence of the young opener did not make it public. But the manager made sure that no player or the staff of the management smoke during the matches,” said a source in the Pakistan Cricket Board.

Waqar had mentioned various incident of indiscipline by Shehzad and another spoiled brat Umar Akmal in his report after Pakistan’s quarter-final exit from the World Cup 2015.

“Shehzad and Umar can’t stand each other and came to blows in the dressing room during a World Cup match, but then manager Naveed Cheema did not make the issue public but mentioned the incident in his report. Considering both reports Shehzad and Umar were dropped from the team for the tour of Bangladesh a fortnight after the World Cup,” said the source.

The 25 year old Shehzad has been in the bad books for long now. His “attitude” problem and “unprofessional” behavior has been the talking point for long now.
