Captain’s speak:
Sarfraz Ahmed: We are focussed today. We are trying to develop the team. Hopefully, we will do well. Amir is not playing today
Carlos Brathwaite: We are going to have a bowl first. We have been very successful in chasing in the past. The ball also gets wet here. That was a bad game, we will continue to be aggressive in intent. I don’t think the pitch has any demons in it. No changes
Toss: West Indies has won the toss and elected to bowl first.
Revenge will in the mind of World Champions West Indies when they take on Pakistan in the 2nd T20I today at the DSC Stadium, Dubai. The first T20I was a Pakistan dominated game. West Indies were not in the contest at all. Imad Wasim’s fantastic display of left-arm spin bowling completely steamrolled the Windies.
He was at his absolute best and ran through the Windies batting order to cripple them badly. Focusing on today’s game, West Indies will have to come back strongly if they wish to stay alive in the series. The conditions will be quite similar. It will be yet another hot and humid day and both the teams will sweat buckets. The pitch also has opened up and has a few cracks. The batsmen will not have it easy while the bowlers will have to deal with the dew factor.
