Not many people gave a chance to Sri Lanka of winning even one game on their tour of Pakistan in the absence of big names. But the young team led by Dasun Shanaka stunned one and all with a whitewash over the No.1 ranked T20I side. Oshada Fernando’s unbeaten 78-run knock played key role in pushing the visiting team’s total to 147/7 on what looked like a tricky track. Pakistan started off their chase well but didn’t score at a good pace. The strategy of keeping wickets in the hand came back to hound the hosts who could only finish with 134/6.
